Hotel Monteleone

Carousel Monteleone was selected to be in the Tennessee Watercolor Society Exhibition as well as the travel show in 2024. It won the prestigious Mary Field Neville Memorial Award. My husbamd and I often travel to NOLA where the Hotel Monteleone is always a must in every journey. Owned by a family who immigrated from Sicily, the carousel bar and lounge is a local favorite offering top notch drinks and entertainment. I chose to paint the jester located on the marquee, the darks were a fun challange as were the bright lights adorning the subject.
